This afternoon’s coffee companion is a colleague at EE.
We talked about writing, and how I use it to make sense of the world. We talked about my circuitous path which I occasionally refer to as my career.
We talked about addiction and the road to recovery. We talked about the challenges of parenting teenage boys, and how hard living with a partner can be.
We spoke of the complexities of juggling work and family, and the strange ways in which the world is sexist for single fathers. We talked of how we both have enjoyed seeing the promise of our employer backed up by the reality.
I forgot to take a photo of my cup, again. This is a stunt double.
