This week I have learned:
- The advantages of having a broad and eclectic network. It means I can make introductions to a broad and eclectic set of people that I simply couldn’t if I had stayed in my lane.
- How to navigate a flat structure. Being in an organisation without hierarchy is liberating, but it does take new skills and approaches to get things done. One can often feel like one is treading on toes.
- That I am undoubtedly in need of a holiday.
- That being shouted at by a disembodied computer voice when running feels like a strange prophecy for the future.
Next week: short term handover
