This week I have learned:
- the sad news that the CIO100 judge and generally lovely chap who knew so much about the tech industry Richard Sykes has passed away. It was a privilege to know him and work with him.
- academia is still as hatstand as ever.
- you need a licence to mudlark, but there’s no exam to pass.
- #Cardstock is happening. More details to follow.
- something very interesting is about to be afoot.
- I reckon that if enough people tweet #SB2020 then Matt Desmier will be forced to do it.
- for as long as flexible working is seen as something done by more women than men it will forever be hard to do.
