This week I have learned:
- It’s so nice to catch up with people. I’ve had half a dozen events this week, catching up with friends, colleagues and some of those folk who are both. I’ve loved every minute of it.
- I received a physical prototype of the book. To hold the things in my hands was a wonderful experience. Our publisher, James, is now working on the final version and on clever ways to ensure that every copy is randomly unique.
- I’ve got a new laptop which was delivered yesterday. Apple’s mastery of cardboard packaging engineering is phenomenal. Their timer countdown calculations when you are transferring files from your old device are woeful.
- I’m starting to feel useful in the engagement I recently started working on.
- I also delighted in so much positive feedback from different people at the various work events this week.
- Walking from Covent Garden to King’s Cross is a lovely little meander.
