This week I have learned:
- the gulf in class between 1st and 11th in the Premier League
- the amazing sense of togetherness in defeat that the 30,000 Watford fans at Wembley experienced
- The delight to be had in catching up with old friends…
- …but also the scary sense of how time is passing that results too.
- My tendency to over-think things can both be prompted by and feed anxiety.
- The need for resilience when someone doesn’t get what you’re working your arse off to deliver.
- (But also the need for realism).
- How neat it is to have a mentor like Mary.
- Converted contracts spring eternal.
