You can give ’em data, but you can’t give ’em long-term motivation. And the short-term motivation of gamification (“hey, look how many steps I got today!”) is just that, short-term.
I love the number of steps I take to get to the pub…
which would be less than the number to get back from the pub (unfair really, crawling is more work than walking)
