There is an article in today's Observer (here) which describes the £8,000 bill that an Orange 3G dongle user picked up for using the device in Paris.
I really, really struggle to understand why the mobile networks are still being allowed to get away with this nonsense. Roamed data should be cheap, because (unlike roamed calling) you don't need the network to find out where you are at any point.
For as long as this situation stays, though, BlackBerry keeps its monopoly on global business data access…
