Things I have learned this week:
- I’m incredibly privileged to have the group of friends that I do.
- Still no news on the publication date
- I’m ready for London Book Fair the week after next, though!
- Doing lots of one-to-one meetings with a big team is proving hugely fruitful, but also very draining. Trying to not repeat oneself when many of the messages are similar is really quite hard work.
- A lot about Allyship thanks to a wonderful workshop run at work.
- After many years of relying on Zoom/Teams/Meet, it’s easy to forget that office space is a finite resource.
- Storytelling can be fun.
- My LLM coding is getting more and more complicated. I might soon start breaking things, and not in a good way.
- There’s a big difference between being a service provider and a partner. Neither is right nor wrong – it’s all about context. But if you are geared for one when expected to do the other, strange things happen.
