This week I have learned:
- The family has been going through some medical investigations recently. It’s been hugely stressful, very frightening, and it’s now over. All clear (within the boundaries of probabilities).
- I’m pretty good with ambiguity. I think I now know my limits.
- Steve Chapman is an incredible person. Spent today at his Mask Workshop and it was an incredible experience. Many of you will find it a terrifying concept. Fight those fears.
- When I get to a deadline I’ll respond with a new one. Keep your eyes out for a Random Advent Calendar.
- It really does feel like I’ve had a month in a weird suspended state. Life proper is starting again, just in time for Christmas.
The week in media
Watched:
Stranger Things with my youngest. I’ve seen it before, but it is very good indeed.
Entertaining Mr Sloane at the Young Vic. It was good, but very of its time.
Read:
A lot of randomthebook.com as we get closer to publisher submission.
Listened:
To my selection for this month’s album club. I know what it’s going to be and it ends with a Dad Joke.
Next week
Various things kick off.
