This week I have learned:
- the power of time travel (again). In a chain of coincidence, I was able to meet up with a former colleague and his partner on Tuesday evening, and an old friend at work on Wednesday. In both cases it was 20 something years since we’d last seen each other. Those gaps strangely disappear. It was lovely to see them all.
- “I’m giddy with joy” is the best feedback I’ve ever had to a talk.
- last week’s flu was horrid. There’s a helplessness to being ill that can become overwhelming.
- after years of thinking “I should do that” I’ve at last signed up to one of Steve Chapman’s Mask Workshops. It scares me, but excites me.
