This week I have learned:
- The first week back is always the longest, isn’t it?
- Debates about remote working appear as heated as they were at the start of the pandemic. The world has definitely moved on. Expectations have changed. But there are opinions.
- Developers using LLMs like a coding language is fascinating. As far as I understand it, trying to remove ambiguity in your prompts through pseudo-code fundamentally misunderstands how LLMs work. They are not a programming interface even if they can chuck out working code.
- The bubble burst is coming, isn’t it?

The Amy Winehouse biopic, which I thought was pretty good.
The Thursday Murder Club, which demonstrates that bringing together an excellent cast is not enough in itself.
