This week I have learned:
- I really am in my element when facilitating workshops. It’s about getting the best out of people, thinking on my feet, being creative, being a performer, not taking myself too seriously.
As a generalist is sometimes hard to pinpoint the things that I’m good at, but this is one of them. - It’s tiring, though. Three days facilitating, a half-day then digesting, and a further half day as a workshop participant for some internal work.
- I got to use the Meerkat Cards in the wild this week. And I saw someone else use them too, which was really nice. They are a neat little tool to have in my toolkit.
- It’s always about the people.
Always. - I need to get a little less stressed about talking about the things I’m good at.

Late to the party, but Sky’s Breeders (currently on Netflix) is an acutely well-observed comedy about parenting.
