This week I have learned:
- I work with incredibly level-headed folk who take stuff in their stride. This is such a nice place to be as a result.
- It was good to get the team together for a day, working in the same room, having lunch together and going for a meal at the end of the day. Judicious and sensible use of in-person time is great.
- Having said that, I also had a number of fascinating conversations quite ad hoc with people on line this week. Mixing the channels is the order of the day.
- It’s easy to forget that others don’t have your prior knowledge. Assuming everyone thinks about things in the same way you do is a recipe for confusion.
- If the world does end, it’ll probably be “end point security” that causes it.
- What football?
Next week: school holidays begin, and some structured Legoing.
