This week I have learned:
- planning a big event which I won’t actually be attending has been an interesting experience. It’s forced me to become much more explicit about ideas on how the day will work and how interactions might happen in the room.
- I’m obviously getting concerned about the way that technology might be deployed within organisations.
- Understanding what your value proposition is, where value lies for your client, and whether you’re giving away the good stuff for free is something that needs constant evaluation.
- If there is an upturn coming in the software industry in the UK (and it’s been a slow year in 2024) it won’t be the same shape as the boom that happened in the rush around Covid.
- This Black Friday thing is bizarre, isn’t it?
- I successfully completed my first 1,000 electric bike miles this week.
Next week: Keynote Karaoke!
