This week I have learned:
- a short break is as good as a rest, or something.
- Exmoor is very hilly
- It also seems to completely confuse Google Maps. There was a road closed in the middle of the National Park which seemed to put Google Maps into a complete tizzy. A 55 minute journey ended up an hour longer than that.
- Familying can be hard
- Reading the room more so.
- Shifting something from in the room to online is tricky.
- Oysters are the Russian Roulette of foodstuffs. I span a bullet.
- The modern day implications of the Protestant Work Ethic appears to be my main organising thought at the moment. It can explain so much, potentially. Must go back to the source materials.
- Is it possible to deliver software without delivering change consulting? A debate is raging.
- in the same week a couple of milestones are passed. A sense of achievement tinged with the inevitable sense of getting older.
- I think we are about to find out exactly how bad the current NHS queues are.
Next week: five day normality (at least once the kids are back at school)
