This week I have learned:
- the only time I’m happier than when I am making things is when I am helping people to use the things I’ve made. Another experiment this week which was a further exploration into how we get better at managing the stuff that goes around our core work with clients. It involved a room full of people, playing cards and a triumph of cardboard and craft knifing, The Emojilizer. A big thanks to Simon White for once again inspiring me.
- the session made me realise that if you are going to go to the effort to do things in person, you need to make the effort to make it worthwhile to do it in person.
- I’m now planning for a hybrid version of the session. I’m going to make the session hybrid by giving participants physical objects with which to engage, as well as a well constructed Miro board. Will be interesting to see if that gets as good engagement.
- Manchester is commutable in a day, but it’s a very, very long day.
- sometimes things are so complex that you can’t comprehend them.
- I think I am, in stages, withdrawing from Twitter
Next week: further experiments

Ooh, how did it go? What did you learn? What did they learn, too?
