Achievements on this last working week of the year included:
– A fun Why App? presentation at the VCCP offices, surrounded by banana pianos
– An entertaining session with the leads of the marketing agencies that we work with in the UK talking about tech and marketing
– Getting to grips with Surface (first impressions: I like it)
– Getting to grips with my Nokia Lumia 920 (first impressions: I like it, but it doesn’t half hurt if you drop one on a socked foot)
– Started using the Pomodoro technique – very interesting; might need to buy an egg-timer
– Another interesting session with Roger from Profinda, talking about the finer points of organisational change
– Great impromptu planning session with Rob F for the ResearchNow event taking place in February
– And survived another week as a single working Dad. Thankfully back to being a happy family as of this afternoon.
